I'grand a huge fan of RM. Drake, I've been following him on Instagram for a long time and thought that information technology was about time that I owned some of his work in print.

At that place were some really beautiful poems in there. Ane of my favorites was this:

I accept to admit though the book was way too pricey for such a pocket-size content w

There were some really beautiful poems in there. Ane of my favorites was this:

She had a little rebel in her, a little chaos and a little gentleness. She did not say much and sometimes she would doze off. She would drift away, dream with the stars and that was ok. She had a fiddling fight in her and every time she built enough courage her vox would repeat through the sky. She was not complete but she was plenty. At that place was a science to her genius, her madness, her beauty and there was nothing she could non reach. She was unstoppable and everything she ever wanted she besides She had a lilliputian rebel in her, a niggling chaos and a petty gentleness. She did not say much and sometimes she would doze off. She would migrate away, dream with the stars and that was ok. She had a footling fight in her and every fourth dimension she built enough courage her voice would repeat through the sky. She was not complete merely she was enough. There was a science to her genius, her madness, her beauty and there was zippo she could not achieve. I haven't read any verse books by this writer. This collection is skilful. I've tabbed a few that really gave me feels but some of the poems are underwhelming and ordinary. I'm looking forwards to read more of this poet. I estimate this isn't his best collection.

The poem that stood out for me:

I haven't read whatsoever verse books by this author. This collection is expert. I've tabbed a few that really gave me feels but some of the poems are underwhelming and ordinary. I'grand looking forward to read more of this poet. I approximate this isn't his best drove.

This is peradventure one of the worst books of poetry I have ever read. The poems are strung carelessly together with extravagant words that lack meaning entirely. The author focused all of his attention on creating beautiful sentences but failed to include whatever real meaning of significance. The words, however lovely, are empty, and carry none of the weight they are intended to. Each verse form was loaded with disturbing cliches and seem as if they were written by a junior high educatee feigning more maturity This is possibly one of the worst books of verse I have ever read. The poems are strung carelessly together with improvident words that lack meaning entirely. The writer focused all of his attention on creating beautiful sentences simply failed to include any existent meaning of significance. The words, still lovely, are empty, and acquit none of the weight they are intended to. Each poem was loaded with disturbing cliches and seem as if they were written by a inferior high student feigning more maturity then they possess. It was as if the writer was a child trying to cram a puzzle piece into the incorrect hole, desperately attempting to write with passionate, intoxicating words that were absolutely original, torturously inviting and yet coolly aloof, and yet failing to exist significant. Colour me surprised.

I've stumbled on Drake'south work from time to time. Posted on a friend's Instagram. Shared on a tumblr post. And every fourth dimension I've read the fiddling blurb with his name scrawled under it, I've felt a connexion. So, naturally, when I saw information technology at the local bookstore, bright and beautiful and not overly expensive, I had to have it. I brought it home, curled up, got ready to earmark the shit out of this book with favourites, and....

Nope. Non a single folio was aptitude.

Not. One.

What happened?

Colour me surprised.

I've stumbled on Drake's piece of work from time to time. Posted on a friend's Instagram. Shared on a tumblr post. And every fourth dimension I've read the footling blurb with his proper name scrawled under information technology, I've felt a connection. So, naturally, when I saw it at the local bookstore, bright and beautiful and non overly expensive, I had to have it. I brought information technology habitation, curled up, got ready to earmark the shit out of this volume with favourites, and....

Nope. Not a single page was bent.

Not. One.

What happened? Where did all the feels get? Where were all those brief little poems that made me feel? Gone, apparently, considering this book had no heart behind information technology. Sure, the sentences are pretty enough, but that's all they are. Pretty fluff. Near of them sound similar the work of someone who has given up. A souvenir card author that can't exist bothered with emotion and so barely scrapes the acme of what the poems could be. Honestly, I felt like I was just reading a random scramble of sentences most of the time. And then disappointing.

I started the year in search of the perfect poesy author for me. I read a couple works already, and sadly, I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, but this is a step closer for sure.

I started the yr in search of the perfect poetry author for me. I read a couple works already, and sadly, I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, but this is a step closer for sure.

I love very lyrical and melodic poetry -I suppose you could call it classic verse- poesy that can touch every fiber of my soul, that can make me feel goosebumps, and though, yes, this was not exactly the melodic, lyrical kinda that I'm craving it did make experience goosebumps at times.

"We are cute things, wild things, searching for the brilliance within united states of america."

Was it the choice of topic that did it to me? Peradventure.

Dear, Dreams and how to value and see yourself are some of the topics that the author talks nearly. Since personal image, if something that was a deep struggle to me it speaks to my soul in a very deep way. I could recognize and see myself in these words and encourage myself to proceed alee.

"Terminate looking for something when something has already found you. You lot have been living with your optics airtight. Awaken, information technology's in that location. Accept it. It'southward yours.

One of my fav from drake. I love the "little notation" poems they are my favorite and then true to everyday life. His other poems are awesome too. He's my top writer!

This was okay. The writing was solid. There were lots of cute poems but non as many spoke to me every bit I would take liked them to. Not the best collection and not the worst.

This is the kind of book I badly and badly need in times of darkness; when things are confusing and nothing is going right. If there's something this book taught me information technology is that we shouldn't be afraid to do what we want, no matter the consequences, no matter the hurting that comes afterward. That, I am still learning to practise. Will definitely read more of Drake'south works. I'm in love. Like the title suggests, "Beautiful Chaos" is a collection of poetry that focuses on giving young people the meaning of ourselves and our lives. What an utterly emotional, heart-warming, cute, gorgeous volume. Like the championship suggests, "Beautiful Anarchy" is a collection of poetry that focuses on giving immature people the meaning of ourselves and our lives. It is about our search for the brilliance inside each of us, almost finding love and being inverse by that love, about agreement our ain selves and finding a place where nosotros truly belong.

Non my cuppa. There where a few expressions here and there I enjoyed but overall I found the language not lyrical enough for my liking and the meanings as well wide open in plain side. It had a very uplifting "your luck aka love waits simply around the corner, just agree on"-tone to many of the poems which is really not for me.
I did fancy the combination of poem and picture/ photograph art though, nothing special but neat.

It was quite curt so I finished it in one setting. Seemingly, his writing mode is fine or rather solid. But that is not enough according to me.. Yes he tackled some problematic things happening in the guild specifically to youth. Like heart break Only in a monotonous way.
At that place were some good,worth reading poems but it was SOULESS to me.
It is disappointing.

I heard about this author through my favorite brand-up artist YouTuber, Carli Bybel, and hoped I would honey his writing since she raved nearly information technology. Maybe information technology's his later works she raved about. Anyhow, this definitely wasn't a favorite read for me. Probably a 2.5-3 stars for me

There were some poems that actually seemed applicative to me, or similar advice I needed to hear, particularly the one entitled Mirrors. I loved that 1! And of grade copied information technology down to re-visit when I wish. And there were a handful

I Dearest some of RM Drake'south piece of work.. but this volume didn't do it for me. I only liked nigh 3-4 pieces in the book. Made me kind of sad. Just hither is my favorite:

I was a bit disappointed with this book. Unfortunately for me, I merely didn't feel for his style of verse. Now, the thing about poesy is that yous are going to love and connect with some stuff and non with others. That's how poesy goes.

I mean, there were probably 5 poems that I thought were amazing in the whole book. When they were adept, they were brilliant only when they were bad, they were a snooze fest.

I only establish his poesy and style a little forced and pretentious at times. I only kept fee

Such a lovely and inspiring collection of some of the most thought provoking and relatable quotes I have ever found in 1 identify. Truly an amazing read; and definitely a book to be taken off the shelves to be read, re-read and read again!

Black Butterfly and Spaceship accept much more than raw emotion compared to the ones found in this book. Although there are a handful that struck with me, the majority of them felt repetitive and lacking something.
